Folding Cartons
Folding cartons are custom-designed paperboard boxes used for packaging a wide variety of products. They can be printed, coated, embossed, or die-cut for branding and product protection. Partitions can be included to organize and separate products within the carton, while pads and specialty die cuts—both plain and printed—can be added for extra cushioning, structural support, or aesthetic appeal.

Using Closer can reduce your per-unit packaging cost up to 50 percent. That's because the amount of film you need to wrap a package costs less than the box or paper you'd need to do the same job. This also means that less waste goes into landfills." Generally there are two major types of shrink over wrap films:
Stretch Wrap
Stretch wrapping is a one step process that uses mechanical force to pull and stretch a thermoplastic film around an object. The tension created by stretching effectively protects products during distribution.

Skin Packaging
Versatile way of packaging items of varying shapes and sizes. Product is placed on a (usually preprinted) peg type board and the plastic can be drawn around just about any size object.

Blister Cards
We can help with your blister or Clam Shell packaging requirements through our team of competent, quality manufacturers.
- Blisters - clear formed plastic, usually follows the outline of a product are heat sealed to printed card stock or foil.
- Clam Shells - Clear plastic, protects product while allowing clear view. Can be free standing or hung on pegs. Assembled manually or automatically.
Shrink Bands & Sleeves
We partner with some of the leading manufacturers of heat shrinkable bands and sleeves. Material can be supplied in Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polystyrene (PS) and Polyester (PET). Heat shrink bands, or sleeves can be clear, color, printed or unprinted. We can help with your requirements for sleeving multipacks, protecting product with tamper-evident bands, or pre-formed bands.

Vacuum Pouches & Bags on Rolls

The introduction of polyethylene to the packaging field caused a major revolution. A product that was impervious to water and air yet strong and inexpensive. For some applications the big advantage of polyethylene is its transparent nature; product visibility can be crucial.
Woven Polypropylene
Woven polypropylene is one of the newer packaging materials available. It is strong, recyclable and cost effective. Please be aware that not all woven polypropylene bags are alike. Yarn count (the number of yarns woven per square inch) and denier (the weight of the yarn) can vary greatly from bag to bag and the effect on bag strength can be significant.
Generally, woven poly bags are made in two ways, circular woven and L sewn. The tops are either heat cut or hemmed. One style of manufacture is not necessarily better than another. Your own needs and preferences can determine what suits you the best.
